Express Vehicle Contracts reveal the new Abarth 600e
Abarth is set to introduce the dynamic new 600e, touted as the brand's most powerful model to date. This vehicle is designed to bring excitement to your everyday drive.
Power and Performance
The Abarth 600e is essentially the high-performance counterpart to the more reserved Fiat 600e, thanks to the long-established synergy between these two brands.
Both cars are equipped with a 54 kWh battery, but where the Fiat offers 154 horsepower, the Abarth boosts this to an impressive 280 hp and 345 Nm of torque. This power is generated by a 207 kW electric motor, utilizing technology inspired by Formula E.
For those who need slightly less power, a 240 hp version of the Abarth 600e will also be available. The top-tier 'Scorpionissima' model with 280 hp accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in just 5.9 seconds, reaching a top speed of 124 mph. By comparison, the CUPRA Born's fastest 'VZ' variant can achieve 0-62 mph in 5.6 seconds, while the MG4 EV XPower does it in 3.8 seconds. Another contender in this space is the Alfa Romeo Junior.
Additional Features
But there's more to the 600e than just speed. When orders open in mid-November, the car will come equipped with a Torsen mechanical limited-slip differential, sports brakes, Michelin Pilot Sport EV tires derived from racing, and an advanced battery cooling system to enhance performance.
The car also features a special 'Scorpion Track' mode that enhances acceleration, steering, and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) for a thrilling drive on the track.
Design and Comfort
Visually, the Abarth 600e is striking, boasting a robust design with 20-inch alloy wheels and an assertive rear spoiler. While its maximum range of 207 miles may not match some competitors, it should suffice for most drivers.
The Abarth 600e also ensures comfort and convenience, transitioning smoothly from racetrack to daily errands. Interior features include an Alcantara steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, and a 10.25-inch infotainment screen.
Leasing Options and Pricing
Two versions are available for lease—the standard Abarth 600e Turismo and the 600e Scorpionissima.
The latter offers the full 280 hp and additional perks like heated Sabelt front seats, velour mats, privacy glass, a rear-view camera, wireless charging, a hands-free liftgate, and a sound generator.
