Land Rover Defender 130 Pick-Up Now Available for £157,000
Heritage Customs has unveiled its latest luxury version of the Land Rover Defender 130, introducing an open-backed pick-up model.
The Dutch coachbuilding firm, led by renowned designer Niels van Roij, aims to build on the momentum achieved by its previously announced Defender 90 convertible.
This new exclusive model starts at £131,000 before taxes, which equates to £157,000 in the UK. This price also includes the Defender 130 X Dynamic SE donor vehicle.
Crafted using the longest version of the Defender, the Valiance Pickup features an extensively modified bodyshell and is designed with "meticulous attention to detail." It boasts high levels of customization, allowing each pickup to be a unique reflection of its owner's personality.
Heritage Customs offers a variety of "carefully curated" colour and trim options to ensure that owners "feel like the king of the road - and desert," maintaining the Defender's renowned off-road prowess.
While full technical details of the conversion have not been disclosed, the Defender 130's boot capacity stands at 1232 litres, and it has a towing capacity of three tonnes.
Land Rover has previously hinted at the possibility of a Defender pick-up but has not confirmed any production plans.
Heritage Customs has also not revealed how many units of the Valiance Pickup will be produced, though it previously announced a limited run of just five units for the shorter Valiance Convertible.
If you’re looking for a bespoke, luxurious, and highly customizable version of the Land Rover Defender, the Heritage Customs Valiance Pickup might just be the perfect fit for you.
