New Enyaq 50 Models Introduced by Express Vehicle Contracts
Express Vehicle Contracts is excited to announce the launch of the new Enyaq 50 and Enyaq 50 Edition models, both featuring an advanced 55kWh battery pack (52kWh net).
This upgrade provides the Enyaq 50 with a range of up to 234 miles and the Enyaq 50 Edition with up to 232 miles on the WLTP cycle.
Powered by a rear-mounted electric motor, these models deliver 170PS and 310Nm of torque, allowing for an impressive acceleration from 0-62mph in just 9.1 seconds.
The top speed for both models is capped at 99mph.
Regarding recharging capabilities, the Enyaq 50 models support a maximum DC charge rate of 145kW and an 11kW AC charge. Using a suitable DC rapid charger, you can achieve an 80% charge in approximately 25 minutes.
A full charge using an 11kW AC connection takes about five hours and 30 minutes. Additionally, all Enyaq 50 variants come with an eight-year, 100,000-mile battery warranty, guaranteeing at least 70% battery capacity.
Replacing the outgoing Enyaq 60 models, the new Enyaq 50 range aims to make transitioning to Enyaq ownership more affordable by reducing costs by £2,000.
Both variants come well-equipped, featuring 19-inch Proteus alloy wheels, Loft interior Design Selection, a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, and a comprehensive suite of safety features.
The Enyaq 50 Edition model goes further, offering full LED Matrix beam headlights, full LED rear lights, heated front seats and steering wheel, privacy glass, Crew Protect Assist, front and rear side airbags, and a central interaction airbag as standard.
Additional features include tri-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, and cooled wireless charging (15W).
The revised Enyaq lineup now starts at £36,970 (Manufacturer Direct Price) for the Enyaq 50, while the Enyaq 50 Edition is priced at £38,585 (Manufacturer Direct Price).
The range has been streamlined and now includes the Enyaq 85 Edition, Enyaq 85x Sportline Plus, Enyaq 85 L&K, and the flagship Enyaq vRS, all featuring a larger 82kWh (77kWh net) battery pack.
