Peugeot has just released the pricing and specifications for their highly anticipated all-electric E-308 hatchback.

This new addition to the lineup joins the refreshed E-208 supermini and the all-new E-3008 crossover.

With three trim options available, starting from just £40,050, the E-308 promises to be a game-changer in the electric vehicle market.

The base-level Allure model offers impressive standard features including 18-inch wheels, heated front seats and steering wheel, a reversing camera, and Peugeot's advanced double-touchscreen infotainment system.

Priced at £255 more than its Astra equivalent, the Allure model sets the tone for the range.

For those seeking a more premium experience, the top-spec GT variant, priced at £42,250, takes things up a notch with Matrix LED headlights, Alcantara-trimmed sports seats, stylish exterior accents, and a cutting-edge 3D digital dash.

Built on the Stellantis EMP2 platform, the same platform as the Vauxhall Astra Electric, the E-308 showcases Peugeot's commitment to electrification.

It will be the first car in the Stellantis group to offer pure combustion, plug-in hybrid, and pure-electric power options.

Equipped with a 54kWh battery and boasting a range of 257 miles, the E-308 utilizes advanced technology to deliver an estimated efficiency of 4.8 miles per kWh.

With the ability to recharge from 20 to 80 percent in under 25 minutes using a 100kW charger, convenience is a top priority for this electric hatchback.

With drive modes including Eco, Normal, and Sport, as well as a Brake button to optimize energy regeneration, the E-308 offers a personalized driving experience.
