Volkswagen

Mercedes-Benz
Hyundai

This year’s FN50 survey once again crowns BMW as the most dependable manufacturer. The Munich-based brand reclaimed its throne from Toyota, which slipped to second place after a sustained effort over the past five years saw key models like the Corolla hold a strong position in reliability.

Audi's fall to third place is attributed to the dwindling reliability of the A4, slipping from fourth to eleventh place this year.

Tesla ascends to fourth place, surpassing Mercedes-Benz thanks to impressive performances by its Model 3 and Model Y.

Volkswagen maintained its fifth position even though models like the Golf, ID3, and ID4 exited the top 15 most reliable vehicles.

Volvo and Mercedes-Benz see shifts within the mid-tier ranks, with Volvo holding steady despite changes, while Mercedes-Benz has witnessed a gradual fall from its previous highs of 2019 and 2020, coming in seventh this year, just above Hyundai.

Korean brands displayed mixed results; Hyundai's Tucson fell sharply from third to fifteenth in reliability, and Kia's Sportage dropped from fifth to ninth, causing Kia to cling to tenth place on the list.

Conversely, Honda showed modest gains, with the Civic improving its rank, allowing Honda to secure ninth place overall.
